Journey Through Music

Rin Ishi found a love for music in the later part in his life. Playing shows in basements and bars in grunge and metal bands. He picked up the guitar one day, strummed it gently, and the sounds he heard made it clear to him. Music would be his passion from that day forward. Rin has had various other artist names over the years, all in an attempt to invoke the deep musical feelings he had inside. Rin stopped playing shows, and instead turned all his efforts towards understanding how music is made. All the intricacies that make it so magical. Still a student of the craft, Rin is still finding new ways to innovate his sound, and has made an effort in capturing the essence of so many genre's and styles. Refusing to be confined to his own niche, Rin welcomes new challenges and works tirelessly to replicate the deep entangled sounds found within him, through his limited studio structure. 

Rin Ishi, was started in early 2014, with the base effort of defining culture through music. Rin, wanting to understand the context of music from all parts of the the world started a project that would propel him to foreign sights and sounds. Impressing talent from Sony Music Japan, this dream almost became reality. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, and Rin, has continued his effort in discovering the sounds of the world and the world of sound within himself. 

It was in 2015, that Rin, first met what is now the most inspiring person ever in his life. His son. The challenges that were faced as a single father, have helped to foster emotions and concepts that were unimaginable before. Leading to some of the most compelling music, Rin has ever made. His journey through music is well documented through the winding trail of music he's left behind. Varying in style, tempo, and key, from one song to the next. Rin Ishi, will never stop learning, and will never stop this journey.
